RV Shows off Journey 3D Trailer in Stereo at CES 2008 on SpectronIQ HD Display

RV Stereo playback made it's public debut at CES 2008 in the SpectronIQ 3-D booth. RV played the stereoscopic trailer for the upcoming feature film 'Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D' on SpectronIQ 3-D's new HD LCD stereoscopic TV. The stereoscopic displays were developed through an alliance between SpectronIQ 3-D and Kerner Optical Research & Development (KORD). KORD is a spin-off of Kerner Optical, LLC.

Tweak worked closely with our friends at Kerner Optical to prepare the demo system and the HD resolution stereo source material. The Spectron Display is remarkable; it is a passive stereo solution using circular polarization. The result is a bright, sharp display with very clear stereoscopic definition. Combined with RV the Spectron IQ display makes a great solution for stereo dailies view-stations.
